Mass General Hospital

Anna Kinnas graduated from Northeastern University in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minors in Behavioral Neuroscience and Ethics. While at Northeastern, she developed a strong interest in the interconnection between inflammation, psychiatric disorders, and other related psychophysiological symptoms.

During her time pursuing undergraduate education, Anna was a co-op student at the Mass General Hospital Depression Clinical Research Program where she assisted with various studies related to depression and inflammation. Working at the DCRP affirmed her passion for research, and she later went on to volunteer at the Interdisciplinary Affective Science Laboratory at Northeastern University. In this role, she both piloted a novel study examining the relationship between energy expenditure and stressful cognitive tasks and contributed to a literature review investigating the effects of pH on brain function and disorders- furthering her interest in psychophysiology.

In her free time, Anna enjoys figure skating, live music, and painting..
