Welcoming Spring, new Faces & a Fond Farewell

This spring, our team gathered to celebrate new beginnings and honor meaningful transitions. We were delighted to welcome Dr. Paula Fernanda Arévalo Carvajal and Aviram Nessim to the lab, and look forward to the energy and expertise they bring to our work.

At the same time, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Emma Spooner, who recently completed her tenure with us. Emma is returning to her first scientific love—basic science and animal models—and we are excited to see where this next chapter leads her. Her curiosity, dedication, and kindness will be deeply missed.
