Katie Prinkey, B.S.
Clinical Research Coordinator @Goldstein Lab - Mass General Hospital
Katie graduated from the University of California San Diego in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and minors in Computer Science and English Literature. With the desire to attend medical school, she is particularly interested in advancing patient care by contributing to the understanding of disease and treatment.
While in undergrad, she worked as a Research Assistant in a molecular neuroscience lab studying post-translational modifications in Alzheimer’s disease. Her work was published in Frontiers of Molecular Neuroscience (2024) and in Communications Biology (2026). She went on to work as a Clinical Research Coordinator studying driving behavior in Major Depressive Disorder and preclinical Alzheimer’s disease. She is ultimately interested in how various neurological disorders, such as neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders, affect brain structure, function, and treatment response.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and hanging out with her cat: Éclair.
